Using a premade cardboard frame, I stamped image in Craft White then applied chalks to image. Sealed with a spray polyeurathane with a satin finish. I plan to put one of my wedding pictures in it!

Aubrey27, I used the regular Stampin' Pastel applicators and "drew" the chalk onto the ink. The Craft White stays wet long enough to accept the chalk for quite a while, but to be sure to get a good adherance, I stamped a few images at a time, then chalked them. I did the long stem on the left first, then the flowers for that stem, then all the stems/grass along the bottom, then the tulips, then the butterflies, then the title. The ink doesn't go anywhere, but you do get extra chalk on the frame, I'd just blow the excess away and then when I was completely finished I used the corner of the chalk eraser to take any excess off...especially around the letters! I think for the frame a sealant is a MUST! I would imagine over time, the chalks would start to fade and disappear if you didn't seal it. Not to mention, dust would accumulate and it would be a nightmare to clean off. Hope that helps, this is one of my newest favorite techniques!
