The site for today, French Garden House, was pure heaven for me...I LOVE IT!!! SO many beautiful things to see..boy did I have a hard time deciding on an inspiration. I finally went with this French Antique Pansies Sachet. The colors also were inspired by some mums I bought yesterday...such gorgeous variations they now have..not just the typical orange and yellow. My background rectangle is a lace pattern bg stamp from Hero Arts..I had to have some sort of lace on this as the sachet is made of that. This card is for my dear friend Alice. I met her several years ago now while volunteering at the school. She is my book club buddy..and so much more. She is about 15 years older than I am but that seems to make no difference. She loves to travel and is so interesting. We like the same independent and foreign movies and lots of the same books. I'm fortunate in that she lives nearby. This will be for her birthday next month...she loves my cards and I can already hear her ooh and ahh over this...**sigh***

I love the rich dark embossed layer against the lush colors of the flowers! All the color choices in this card were inspired. Great!

I've almost always had friends in my life who were 10-15 years either senior or junior to me and found myself much the richer for it. Glad you found a friend like that too!
Love the coloring on your pansies....a personal fave flower of mine and the way you incorporated the lacy bg too.
