Okay, I have been making quite a few "masculine" cards to increase my stash for men. I belong to a "couples" Sunday School Class and I send birthday, encouragement, anniversary cards to each individual as the need arises. Needless to say, it is much more fun to make the "girly" ones, and my masculine stash has suffered.
That being said, when I saw today's sketch (SC401), I immediately saw a "guy" card. I used the same image I used for yesterday's CC, but I changed up the color scheme. The image is colored with Copics, I used a "gear" EF to go with the gears in the image, added screw brads and once again that "swirley" thing (can anybody tell me what those things are called - LOL).
Thanks, again, for taking a closer look. Hope you like this one

You're' doing a great job on the masculine cards! This color scheme works well (I think I have some of the bg paper...love it) and today's sketch is perfect to display your car image. I think that swirly thing is called a "clip"..lol...or a "swirly clip"??

This is one SNSS set I don't own, but now I'm asking myself "why?" (especially since I find masculine cards difficult!) - you're inspiring me with all these fabulous guy cards, Barb! The coloring is fantastic on the classic pickup, and your bg embossing and screw brads play along so beautifully!

Wow! I like this one too! I've seen a lot of this stamp in the gallery lately. This one's colors are really great. And once again the brads and paper clip add to the rustic look.

Fabulous card, Barb!! LOVE the earthy colors...then the "pop" of the red-orange classic pick-up. The gears EF continues the "machinery" theme as do the "screw" brads. Wonderful DPs to complete this beauty!

I really need some masculine cards myself, and yet keep making the girly ones. I don't have that many manly images either, but I'm sure I could find some in my big stash. This is a very handsome looking card. I like the car and the colors.
