Today's color challenge was to use grey, chocolate and green. Have had this stamp for a while but always forget to use it every year. So I thought the NY twin towers would work well with these colors.

It is almost hard to put into words, when describing anything about 9-11. It evokes such strong memories. But we do need to remember. That is also my son's birthday. He turned eleven on that fateful morning. He came home crying and it was all I could do to comfort him. It was only in the days and weeks following that we saw America come together and flags being flown.
You card is hauntingly beautiful. A lovely tribute to the buildings that once stood so tall and the people who lost their lives; the policemen, firemen, EMTs, clergy, pilots, military, and so many others.
Thank you for sharing, your card speaks volumes as it tugs on my heart strings.
I love this! What a beautiful tribute to our people who's lives were taken that September day. The day President Kennedy was assassinated and 9-11 are two days of our history I will never forget. Bless you.

Beautiful card! I was just in New York 2 weeks ago today. We visited Ground Zero & the 9/11 Memorial Museum to pay our respects. We will never forget the events of that day & will forever honor the memories of those who we lost.

Very pretty card! I've never seen a Twin Towers stamp before. Those were my absolute favorite buildings as a kid. They were the first thing I saw when we got over a particular hill on Staten Island on my way to my grandparent's house in Brooklyn. As soon as I saw the Twin Towers, I knew we were going to be at my grandparent's within the hour (if traffic was in our favor)! My students are studying 9/11 in history right now, and it just makes my stomach hurt. Thanks for the great card!

What can one say to describe a card that pays tribute to such a tragedy...................I don't think any of us will ever forget that day, what we were doing or where we were. But I do remember saying to my husband that morning that this must be how our parents and grandparents felt when Pearl Harbor was bombed. Numb. What a beautiful card.
