First of all, a big congratulations to the new CAS DT! I'm looking forward to an entire season of your fabulous creations!
Second, I'd like to know whose idea it was to use fabric as this week's challenge?! Do you have any idea how difficult it is for a quilter to open the lid on her fabric stash and choose just ONE small piece of fabric to use on a card? Then, to use that ONE small piece of fabric to make something CAS?!! Eeek! You have totally got me going insane over this one, I'm afraid! Of course, you can probably see that by this week's card...perhaps after I stop hyperventilating, I'll come back and make something entirely different. But, for now, you're going to have to look at this rather scary CAS creation!

I can imagine that it was a hard choice, but I love what you picked and how you used those googly eyes to turn it into a Halloween card. Made me giggle.

I love this!! It's primitive and scary, just perfectly CAS. I have the opposite problem as you- very little fabric. But we both managed to create something.

I'm also a quilter. I had to limit my card fabric to the last scraps of many scrap quilts, (or faux, for the dt card), for many of the same reasons you'd mentioned. My fabric stash is probably more precious to me than the paper goodies!
You did a fabulous job with this scrap. Clever, imaginative Halloween card! Remarkable, how resourceful we crafters can be.
