This is my card for this weeks color challenge cc391. Julia is our hostess and she chose 2 neutral colors in basic gray and chocolate chip and then one of the new -in-colors gumball green.
Our dessert this week is to create our own patterned background paper.
So I started with the dessert, and made by bg with the SU - “parlor prints” stamp in gumball green.
My image is actually 2 SU sets. The leaf flourish is from SU’s -”wings of friendship” set stamped in gumball green.
The bird and sentiment are from the “language of friendship” set. I stamped the bird on choc chip dsp and then used the SU bird punch tp punch it out.
The sentiment is stamped in basic gray.
Used a SU edge punch on this layer and some brown rick rack.
I punched a daisy in basic gray dsp and added a green brad center. That completed my card. The layout is an old MojoMonday #159 sketch
Mary this is such a beautiful card. First I love the desert dp you created. Then the bird is so pretty and the grey flower is lovely and I love that sentiment. You rocked on this challenge.

Mary, truly a sweet card with this little bird. Love the gumball/white bg you created for this little brown bird. The image panel is beautifully done....and the little gray flower is so pretty.
