And there she is… Her Royal Highness, Queen of Jammer Town. Many know her as Blooms in a Box. Quite a sight, isn’t she? Here is a not so rare (apparently) glimpse of the Queen doing what she does best. I have been thinking a lot about Jammer Town and by the responses out there, it sounds like there are more people there than we realized. There may be some of you out there that aren’t sure if you are “ Jammer Girls” or not, so to help you decide, I have put together a little “assessment” for you to check and see. This small sampling of observations by no means fully encompasses the Jammer spirit, but it will give you a pretty good idea of where you stand. So without further ado, I give you “You Might Be a Jammer Girl…”
You Might Be a Jammer GirlÂ….
1) If you own a different pair of slippers for each jammer uniform you own and they ALL have glitter or paper bits stuck to them, you might be a Jammer Girl!
2) If you have more crafting supplies in your dining room than Hobby Lobby, you might be a Jammer Girl!
3) If you can look at a stash of die cuts and embellishments and remember exactly where and when you bought them or who gave them to you but have a hard time remembering to turn the dishwasher on, you might be a Jammer Girl
4) If you have actually had an “intervention” because you hoard more designer paper than you use, you might be a Jammer Girl!
5) If you had to add an extra room on your house just to hold your embossing folders (Holstein), then you might be a Jammer Girl!
6) If your “dream vacation” is your husband going golfing for the day while you stay behind in your pjs and craft all day, then you might be a Jammer Girl!
7) If you have ever even considered the thought of using your husbandÂ’s new leaf blower to clean out your craft room OR to get the Glossy Accents to dry faster, you might be a Jammer Girl!
If your house is on the “Tour of Homes” map because of your Nestabilities collection, you might be a Jammer Girl!
9) If your husband has more handmade cards than he does lures in his tackle box, you might be a Jammer Girl!
10) If youÂ’ve ever raided your husbandÂ’s tool chest for new embellishment ideas, you might be a Jammer Girl!
11) If you have ever spent all day stamping in your jammers only to stop, go take a shower, put on a fresh pair of jammers and return to the craft room, you might be a Jammer Girl!
12) If you have ever used Stampin’ Up colors in your every day conversations (“Man, that sure is a nasty lookin’ bruise….kind of a combination of Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry, and Summer Starfruit”), you might be a Jammer Girl!
13) If you hear the words “Estate Sale” and immediately think “Vintage Embellishments”, you might be a Jammer Girl!
14) If you could tie all of your ribbons and twines from end to end and circle the earth TWICE, you might be a Jammer Girl!
And this one is my personal favoriteÂ….
15) If you’ve ever pulled into a parking spot at Michael’s and from his little car seat your two year old son has chimed, “We’re Home”, you might be a Jammer Girl! (….lol…that ACTUALLY HAPPENED to my dear SIL and my sweet nephew!)
So Jammer Girls, lets unite. There is definitely strength in numbers. There is NO shame in spending a leisurely day crafting to your heartÂ’s content in your jammers. Stamp On, my friendsÂ….stamp on!
Pssst Pat- IÂ’ll bet thatÂ’s what youÂ’re doinÂ’ up there isnÂ’t it? Trying to see how many of these things youÂ’ve doneÂ…lol! You are a bird in this worldÂ…yes, a bird in this world! Love ya, girl!

Oh my goodness, my belly aches from laughing! (My dining room table, usually spotless and hardly ever used for anything, has a tote of seasonal punches open) This card is delightful! (I've two extra temporary tables up and loaded with binders and kits.) Your explanation is stand-up worthy! (I'm already in my second pair of jammies, and I'm west coast!!) LOVE (and obviously identify with) your survey tool. Ta da!!! Jammer.

Oh, Katie - the tears are running down my face from all the laughing - each of your Jammer Girl 'observations' is funnier than the one before it!! I can't even tell you which ones are my favorites - because THEY ALL ARE!! ROFLOL!!
This Mo digi is on my bottomless list and I love the way you have colored her - sweet and soft - she looks so comfy, perched on the floral oval nestie and crowned with the royal bow and crown jewels on the card - the sentiment could not have been better, given the circumstances, and now, you have given us a united front with which to stand together, proclaiming to all the world, "YES, WE ARE JAMMER GIRLS!"
Your card is the perfect expression of our common bond - yes, my friends live in my computer, and I feel that we all are on the same page here - i.e. - we all have enough to fill a Hobby Lobby in our craft rooms, have too many embossing folders, are always looking for vintage embellishments, had a 'dream vacation' when DH went out for the day, and decided to use his leaf blower to dry a card, or use SU's colors in our everyday conversations - yes, all this and more is what unites us as Jammer girls. Love that you and Pat have taken this fun to a higher level - it has to be the highest form of entertainment in the world today!! For that, dear Sisters, we thank you, from the bottom of our embellishment drawers - and our hearts! Hugs x 2

Sister...Sister...Sis-tah! Katie, my friend, for starters, your work is exquisite! <---that's a BIG word, huh? Your coloring and shading is the best, you brought this gal to life. Oh, dreaming I did look like this fer sure! And that layout is divine, ya hear? The Liquid Pearl frame is super delish, and those jewels, no doubt from your very own Sweet Lady Katie, High Princess of Jammer Town crown.
Sigh..."the" List. Yes, guilty on every account, except for the one about Micheal's. But one time when Bubba went with me to "the Mother Ship", (as we call Michael's), the check out gals screamed "Pat! We missed you, where have you been?" Bubba's jaw dropped, and he said "Dang Baby, you're like a celebrity here". Yes, and as I shook my head in apparent shame, I did smile...a little!
Sistah Katie, you are a bird in this world, a bird in this worldand I loves ya! Thanks so much for a most enjoyable holiday weekend, and making my heart smile! Hugs.....
Psst...let's go watch some Andy now, and smile secretly! Heee...heee....heee...

Too funny! And yes... My child knows his way around Michael's better than most. He actually told a lady where something was the last time we were in there. He is 6 now.
Beautiful card as usual Katie! Wish I was there with you creating! XXOO

Oh You have this one so right! Jammer town starts rockin as soon as work is out on Friday and doesn't end until the last possible moment Monday morning.
The Mothership!!!!!! Aaaak! It's like a "Cheers" moment but instead of "Norm!"
it's "Pat!". They haven't gone so far as to opening a checkstand just for her, but I figure that's next. And when people come to visit from out of town, going to Yosemite also includes a tour of "The Cat's Meow" a craft store in Oakhurst.
Of course a visit to her sister includes a trip to Hobby Lobby! When we go to visit parents and other family then it's the local craft stores. (She has some kind of homing beacon where no matter where we are she can find a craft store in a few minutes, and instantly become friends with the owners!!!)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the card! It's great, looks just like her. Except she's got a laptop in the stamp room, tablet on the patio, then there's the desktop,
I'm only allowed to be on that one when it's time to pay the bills. (I'm only kidding) HAHAHAHAHAHA!
------------------------------ MAN Stampin': Did you use an Xacto Knife? No? Then it's not a real card!
Too darned funny. I can relate with #6 especially well only he rides horses instead of golfing. Hes going on a trail ride for a whole week in Oct!!! Darn I'm gonna have to stamp. I have to wear dark jammers so when the ink on my hands gets wiped on them you can't tell. Well Jammertown is definitely a fun place to be. Your card is adorable.

LOVE your wonderful card too! Your coloring is AMAZING and you made the oval nestie even prettier with the liquid pearls!!! LOVELY embellishment too! LOVE it all!!!
CHEERS to PAT and CHEERS to KATIE!!!

You are a "hoot", I absolutely love this. Really gives me a sense of normalcy as I fit in many of the above points - of the shame of it all - LOL. Absolutely adorable card, and I can definitely relate. I am lost without my "puter" Your coloring/shading of this little jammer is perfection. And I love all the detail, the delicate pearls, the dies. Wonderful card! TFS, and thanks for the laugh.

Katie, you coloring of the image is jaw-dropping gorgeous! What a fun image and sentiment...think we have all sat at our puters...laptop or otherwise......in our jammies. Love the frilly frame you used with it.
