Okay, I am really stepping out of my comfort zone creating a VERY monochromatic card - in grays and blacks no less. But I needed a masculine birthday card, and when shopping I really liked this argyle pattern dp. So there you have it.
Now for the challenges, the design is inspired by our Queen this week - Kathleen Lammie, and Trish is right. Kathleen is kind, and is always leaving sweet remarks on everyone's cards. And Kathleen has a sweet gallery too. The card of hers that I CASed is this one:
I changed the color scheme, have the sentiment as the main panel, added brads and a photo turn. I decided at the last minute that I wanted to do some random piercing on each corner. No particular reason why, just a whim
This also fit for today F4A132 Happy Birthday challenge.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look, hope you like it.

You do masculine cards SO well, Barb. I love the black/grey monochromatic palette with the accents of brads and piercings. A distinctive looking card.......and terrific CASE of Kathleen's card.

This is so cool! The black and gray really give it punch even though it is monochromatic. I love the dsp and the layout.

I love that you added the paper piercing, Barbie! Your card looks very masculine so you pulled it off as far as being a guy birthday card! Very nicely done~
