Here is my CAS185 card using the Theme: Summer Treats........My treat each summer.....sitting under the shade of one of our flowering cherry trees for lunch with my DH as we enjoy and admire our flower gardens ;-)
My main image was watercoloring with my aqua painter onto a clear mount block and then stamping onto W White CS. I used Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripples for the background.
I then stamped the leaves with Gumball Green and stamped off also adding the cute little flowers using Rasp. Ripple and again stamping off. I added Dazzling Details and pearls to the flowers.
The framing layer and flowers were sponged with the same colors as above onto watercolor paper.
I spent 4 hours today stamping with a couple of gf's playing with water coloring backgrounds. Do we stampers know how to have fun or what?!?
Enjoy and thanks Denise for an awesome challenge.

Very pretty. I'm really liking your watercolor acrylic block cards you've been making. The colors look so good here together. Love that green stitched ribbon.

Very pretty, Nancy. Flowers are certainly a visual treat, particularly in the summer. I was born with a black thumb, but my Mother was blessed with a very green one and it was a delight to sit in their patio room and look out at all her flowering gardens. Your color choices are beautiful together.

Such a pretty color combination, Nancy! Love what you're doing with the acrylic blocks as a BG--it's very artsy! The watercolored frame is a nice idea for your summer creation!

What a pretty, summery card! Love the piercing beneath the sentiment--a nice, subtle touch. I don't know if the vine going through the sentiment is part of the stamp or something you added yourself, but it is really pretty.
