I'm giving this to my daughter who started 3rd grade today. It was a rocky start. Half way there her water jug spilled all over her lap (I apparently didn't put the lid on right). So I had to drive her back home so she could change clothes. By the time I got her to school it was too late for me to walk her in so I had to drop her off ....LATE! She gave me a teary smile and a wave as I drove off, brave little star! So this card is for her. She'll rip the stars off and use them on something else, but I'm ok with that.

And, this is such a cool card. I love it! Your daughter did get off to a bad start but I'm hoping things improved as the day went on. This card is sure to cheer her.

Awesome design! I have a 3rd grade daughter, too, and I know she would go nuts for this ... the zebra, the glitter, the sentiment. Thanks for playing along in the Week 4 VLV!

I think it is wonderful that she will probably use the stars for something else AND that you are good with that!!! You sound like a wonderful Mom!!! Awww your story touch my heart. What a sweet Mom you are making your daughter a card to help her feel better. I always felt so guilty if things didn't turn out perfect for my little ones-but hey it's life and I bet by now it's forgotten. This card is lovely. The stars are perfect and I love that paper!
