What a joy to be on the very creative SU Demo's "Creative Crew" Design Team from Sept. thru Dec. 2012. Thank you again Patty, Jana and Susie for the opportunity to share my love of SU products.
The Creative Crew September Theme is.... faux or machine Sewing. I am a "faux sewing" kind of girl.
I used the "Triple Stamping" technique that you can find in the SCS tutorials. Fun and easy.
My card qualifies for the Color Focus (colors from Comfort Cafe DSP) and Catalog Focus using tools that are sewing related.
Enjoy and hope you get to play the Sept. 2012 Challenges.

Nancy, this is wonderful! I thought you'd stamped and sewn on some linen--it's very authentic looking! Love the triple layering--I might have to try that! Lovely card, my friend!

Awesome!! This stamp is perfect for the Triple Stamping technique ... just love the look! I thought you had machine stitched this card when I first saw the picture ... it looks so real and not faux at all! Love the distressed edges of the layers - adds so much texture and interest. Amazing card. Congrats on becoming the newest member of the SU Creative Crew DT!

Congrats, Nancy! You will be a great asset to the Design Team. Your stitching on this card is perfect -- until I read your description, I thought it was real stitching, it is so perfect. I'll have to check out the tutorial as your card certainly has a lot of visual depth to it.
