Here's my card for the Inspiration Challenge this weekend! The web site is "Wind & Weather". Because I'm a sucker for neutrals, I honed in on this gorgeous set of "Floralscale I/II" framed art pieces.
The background was made by sponging distress inks (ala Darlene Devries) all across the main panel. I stamped the fern image in Versamark and used white embossing powder, then stamped my floral image with black ink. To create the blue flowers scattered across the bottom, I used some dimensional paint to ensure it stayed on top of the layers of ink that were already laid down.
I layered my panels, and then attached an acetate piece over the top of the inked panel. I stamped my sentiment with StazOn on the acetate and added a little butterfly.
More details and photos on the process can be found on my blog!
TFL!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

That was a fabulous site, Anne - thank you. DH was pretty taken with some of the stuff too - but if we have to email to ask about international shipping, I know it's going to be too much...
I love the panel you've created - a piece of art here for sure.
