This is probably the most minimalistic card I have ever made, and I like it! This is for Betty Wright's (gbedwright) Color Challenge: use Bravo Burgundy, Regal Rose and Summer Starfruit, then as a dessert option, have something metal on the card. I chose the cardstock colors in my stash that are closest (these are all Bazzill), then I peeled the plastic off a twist tie and used the thin wire.
The elephant and balloon are paper pieced and the template can be found in my blog if you want it. The eyes, smile, wrinkles on the trunk and the “hi!” were all done by hand with a black pen. The “balloon” was held by the twist tie wire and fastened to the elephant’s “trunk”. The card base was embossed with a border of dots (Cuttlebug EF), and that’s it!
I don't know if the challenge police will come after me for this one, but since I did not use any stamp on the card itself, I'll also put it under the "No Stamping" Challenge (they might come after me for using a digital stamp - well, sorta, lol - so I can do the paper piecing - in which case, I'm guilty as charged! lol!). Gotta say that I had a lot of fun, though!

The challenge doesn't say you have to use stamps, just colors. You did use the colors, and even added the "dessert"! I love that you hand-drew that elephant. Minimlistic, maybe, but there's a charm to this card that I find makes me smile! I really like it!
