Korin gave us a sketch that I thought was well-suited for a sympathy card. Maybe it is because I needed one :( They are the most difficult for me to do. As much as I tried to add the smaller panel with the sentiment on it, I elected to stamp the sentiment directly on the main bg by itself. Adding a smaller panel just seemed to make the card too busy.
I embossed the background stamp with black and cut it down in size to make a smaller panel. I just felt drawn to this as it just seemed to be calming. Maybe it is because our friends loves nature. I hope it comforts them, as they had to take their daughter off life support today. They are now just waiting.
Thanks so much for looking, I appreciate it.

This card is lovely..it does have a calming effect when you look at it. What terrible heartache for your friends..I can't image. May they find support in good friends like you.

I'm so sorry that you needed a sympathy card! But what you've created is very beautiful and sure to bring comfort!

Absolutely beautiful, Barb. I know how heart-breaking it is to even craft such a card under these sad circumstances. Your friends will know that you are feeling their loss too. A very sensitive and compassionate card.

I hope your friends find comfort in your beautiful card. Sympathy cards are always so hard to create but your circumstances make it even harder. Very sorry.

Barb...you're like me....it doesn't take too much for me to think I've gone over the top. I think your choice was a good one. Your card is beautiful. That image is totally awesome....I've never seen it!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
life is something that happens only when you run out of cardstock
