Hi everyone I'm uploading from work again so will fill in the details of the card tonight....... its now 6pm everyone has been fed and hubby has gone to work, he works permanent night shift.
OK I spoilt myself a little with this challenge and spent a couple of days thinking about it and then a few hours just playing. Absolute bliss!!
I'm not keen on Bravo Burgandy so haven't used a lot, as the backing card, some of the blending on the flowers and the rhondel in the little bit of bling hanging from the bow.
I was going to use Regal Rose embossed for the main background but it was a bit too much so decided on white and ran my brayer over the embossing to lift it but then decided it was too white so did some of my favorit sponging.
I really like Kiwi Kiss so I think I'm probably going to like Summer Starfruit when we finally get it (week and a half to go) I ran the jumbo wheel over the strip of Kiwi Kiss and then stamped For You with Kiwi Kiss ink and then without moving the Stamp-a-ma-jig over the top with versamark and heat embossed.
The ribbon is the ribbon you get off the shoulders of blouses etc when you buy them to keep them on the coat hangers. I always cut mine off and save them and I get everyone in the family to do the same. They are just the right length for card embelishment and it's amazing the colour selection I have. I also sponged the paper doily and the lace with Kiwi Kiss.
Thanks Betty for a wonderful colour combo
Hope you enjoy the card, cheers Marg
