I wanted to make a card for a friend with the "What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?" sentiment. So I was poking about some digis and found this and said, hmmm, those bears look like they are dancing, and an idea was born. I was going to crumple and ink (see second post) and I knew I wanted to frame it like a painting, so todays Free for All Challenge gave me a push to git 'er done.
For F4A130 Combo Loco I tried the distressed glue technique and combined it with F4A77 Frame it up!
The lower card is my first attempt, but I thought it obscured more of the bears than I wanted by just making the random smears. So on the second try (upper card) I smeared the glue on the bears & left the bg untouched. Wasn't totally in love, but a good try. It was made to make a bg so maybe I'll try it with plain paper next time.
Frame was cut with my Cricut and Wild Card cartridge, tweety frame cut @ 5 1/4" Real dial size.

You found a wonderful image to go with your "hokey-pokey" idea. Your friend will love this b'day card. Love the technique you used on your bear panel. I also appreciate your showing us your "journey" in creating the final card.
