I loved the texture, thin vertical shapes, and color-washed hues, so that's what I tried to incorporate into my design.
I started by embossing a piece of textured ivory cardstock. Next I added swipes of Tumbled Glass Distress Stain, varying my pressure so some of the areas remained un-inked to achieve the look of the garden stakes.
I cut the panel into three pieces and added it to Tumbled Glass Core'dinations Cardstock. The Hero Arts sentment was stamped in Tumbled Glass distress ink and some ivory pearls for a monochromatic finish.

Love the garden stakes you chose for inspiration, they would be so much prettier then the popsicle sticks i use..lol. Neat job getting your strips to look just like them and love how you did the sentiment and your added little pearls on top...TFs...off to see that cool site...TFS..:0)
