I sure am glad that I didn't do yesterdays sketch as it worked for me today combined w/ the WT. I also combined stamp sets from SU - golden Rule Days & TSG - Believe In You.
I colored the little girl from TSG w/ SU watercolor pencils, cut her out w/ nesties Lables 11, sponged the edges & attached popdots. Remember the old song School Days, School Days - I can't get it out of my head yet!!! That is stamped onto yellow legal paper. I used chalk on the board.
This is for my granddaughter going into - you guessed it - 1st grade.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

This is such a sweet card!! I do remember my first grade teacher writing the "Golden Rule" on the chalk board. I believe I have always taken it pretty seriously. Wouldn't the world be wonderful if more people did. I'm sure your grand daughter will love this.

Awww, your Grand-daughter is growing up fast. 1st grade already!!! What a sweet card to commemorate her first day. I bet she will put it in a scrapbook and look at it 20 years from now with much fondness.
