I wasn't familiar with Jean's gallery, but found several cards I wanted to CASE. I chose her Grateful card, which used a window to the inside of the card. Instead of stamping on the inside, I used a piece of Basic Grey's Wassail DP, as a backdrop for the diecut Memory Box Leaping Deer. I cut the window, with the PTI Mat Stack 3 die, on both the crumb cake and nat. white pieces. The crumb cake panel was embossed with PTI's woodgrain impression plate, stamped with the sentiment using cherry cobbler and I tied a piece of seam binding for accent. To help support the deer, I placed a piece of clear cardstock between the panels and used foam tape on the deer. Here's Jean's card. Grateful by naturecoastcrafter at Splitcoaststampers

Ingenious. I fav'd it because that trick with the clear acetate is definitely something I want to remember. I also fav'd it because it is a wonderful piece of art. Thank you for honoring me so beautifully, Sue.
