Today, Judy gave us the challenge of virtually any background! So first I tried the chalk and alcohol spraying...I sprayed too much! Then I tried the Inlay embossing, but I didn't have clear embossing powder, so I tried it with opaque. Hmmm, not really looking like it is inlaid. Lastly I tried this technique. It is called Bargello. Fairly easy. (Thank goodness!)
This is a cute Bugaboo digi and a Hero Arts sentiment. Thanks for another great learning experience Judy Thank you for stopping by to take a peek!

Sounds like you got lots of experience in for the day! Sometimes we need to try it so we can keep away from it-forever! Lol Your Bargello bg came out so pretty for this little gal, and the layout you chose is really nice! Sweet colors too~ I tried that technique once, but I didn't have the sticky paper so it just wasn't working right.

I know how it is when you start out doing one thing and end up doing another as something didn't work out..it's fun to try new techniques though. This bargello turned out really cool..did you know that it's a needlepoint stitch? I remember from my needlepoint days years ago..Very cute bug..love those colors!
