The embossing across the card was done with the dots folder from the Cuttlebug set Just My Type and it was embossed twice. Once I had it positioned on the card I used painters tape to secure it in place, ran it into the machine and backed it out before it caused the heavy line we so often get with the folderÂ’s edge and repeated it again from the opposite end of the card front to get the wide band of dots.
Scor-Pal was used to emboss the double lines on top and bottom of the embossed band. I use a metal ball stylus to emboss with.
The complete image was stamped once and partial image stamped twice, each one colored with Copic markers, cut out and the edge colored with a Marvy black marker and assembled with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue and attached to the card with foam tape.
The cherry was covered with AleeneÂ’s Paper Glaze and guess what, when you smear it and get it on the card it can be removed using a sanding blockÂ…or just try not to forget to let it dry!
