Michelle asked us to use something that had been gathering dust for years for the Ways to Use It challenge...my Pale Plum ink pad definitely qualifies...I can't remember EVER using it and it's been there for a LONG time. I reached for it when I was sponging these die-cut shells. The bg is stamped with a brand new SNSS set called Grunge Borders - I used the wood grain strip aiming for a sea washed wood look - however by using blue ink, it could be mistaken for water too. It's not evident in my photo but the card base is pearlescent. The sentiment is another new SNSS set released today called Script Sentiments. If you want to see all of the new sets you can join us for the blog hop.

Bridget, a GORGEOUS card with such a peaceful aura. Clever you to use a wood grain stamp for water....looks terrific. Your seashells are lovely and add a wonderful dimension.

Bridget, those shells look so real, it's amazing they are only made from paper! You do such a great job at making scenes look like a postcard and so true to life! I love this one, it has such a calming effect~
