All these photos are thank you note cards for firefighters and police that worked on the horrible fire in Waldo Canyon and in and near Colorado Springs which burned 346 homes in Colorado Springs, killed 2 people, burned one famous and long time business and over 18,000 acres.
I used Memory Box dies on all cards, one had a spellbinders nestabilities die, awesome papers from K&Company, two had punches, stamps and chalk ink on some.

Wow, I am so sorry for you and your family. I hope your home was okay.
You know the most then about this and what happened. I have friends up there too and my former pastor did loose his home. It was a beautiful home and beautifully decorated and so many memories for his family, five children and grandchildren.
My other friend has her home while others around her burned. I can't even imagine what you and everyone that lives or lived there felt when you suddenly had to evacuate without much notice. I pray you and your family are alright and back in your home.
You are right that our first responders and those that came from elsewhere to help with this horrific fire are never thanked enough. I loved seeing people with signs at the places where the firefighters came back from their shift or when they left. I know they so appreciated it.
I saw some of the firefighters from California going home on I 25 and I waved, and gave a thumbs up to each of the trucks we passed. I wish I could do cards for all of them but I can't. I did 22 and one for a firefighter I know who helped save 7 houses in Mt Shadows and also worked up on Blodgett mt and helped in the mountainous terrain as well.
God bless you and your family. I am glad you reached out and mentioned this. Thank you.
