What fun to do these DTGD challenges! I tried two new techniques I recently learned on this card. I learned this plaid embossing at a SU! workshop. You emboss it once going one way inked up with one color, then emboss it again going the other way inked up with the other color. Voila, plaid!
Then last week-end I learned how to do these tissue flowers at a stamp show. TFL

Oh how FUN! Happy happy colors & I just adore the plaid! Clever, clever tissue flowers! Love these mini versions ... You're taking me back to the big ones I remember making for the prom! (Shhhhh!) Thanks so much for bringing them to my DTGD challenge!

Just "met" you during posting of DTGD challenges - how delightful this card is - and how infectious your enjoyment of a novel technique! Glad to have seen your work, and thought process.
