Just finished this card for my new great-nephew Holden James' baptism which is tonight. I wanted this card to be very special! I used blue gingham paper on a blue 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 card base. I edged the corners with a Martha Stewart edge punch. The cross is cut with a Spellbinder's die and lays on a Spellbinders large oval circle which I ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. This is on top of a doily made with a Marianne Design Creatables die. The message, which I made on my computer reads, "Baptized this Day". I used white font on a blue background and punched it out with a Stampin" Up medium oval punch. (That size fits perfectly on the Spellbinders tag die). I made little flowers with a tiny EKSuccess flower punch The cross and the tag are made out of the shimmery silver inside lining of a Puff's (with Vicks) Kleenex box! Oh, I also punched out a small Martha Stewart dove from white glitter paper and glued that on the front of the cross to symbolize baptism. Lots of love went into this card!
