Sometimes just a little bit of color can make a dramatic statement, especially when that color is red! I colored up the lovely Poppies and Daisies recently and loved the way it turned out so much, I decided to make the backdrop for it just black and white, and let the reds really shine.
I began by inking up the stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black, and stamping on Ultra Smooth White card stock. Here is a breakdown of the Spectrum Noir markers I used:
I really, really love the range of reds in the Spectrum Noir markers. So many possibilities for adding depth to projects! They definitely add some "wow" to things.

This absolutely popped out of the gallery to me... Red is my favorite color, and the back drop you have absolutely pops your image. Of course the awesome ribbon really completes the whole image... Thanks so much for sharing.....

Happy you made the favorites! I wouldn't have wanted to miss seeing this spectacular card. The red bow rocks and your poppies just pop off the page. Great choice of the black and white background!
