For this week's tea-party, which was a colour challenge. Hey Sheri - is that you reflected in the brown teapot? I'm sorry I didn't have just that shade of brown - I know there's a distress ink close, but it's not one that figures in my collection!
A simple, outdoor manly card was what we were asked for, so I set Sherlock Beagle in an outdoor setting, and hope that after a bit of searching he will be able to find the wood.
A2 base, watercolour paper. Snoopy stamped and masked. Trees stamped multiple times with Versafine Olympia Green, then sponged with Pine Needles. Sky sponged with Stormy Sky, foreground with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain shadows under the trees. Snoopy's cape and hat are various shades of brown.
Lots of Thoughts sentiment punched with Word Window Punch and threaded through the card using the slot punch. Edges distressed and swiped with Walnut Stain.
Glossy Accents on the lens of the magnifying glass.
I know we were told to write BIG on the insides of our cards for Sol, which I will, but I'm afraid I didn't have a suitable BIG sentiment to use on the front.

What skill you have with your backgrounds and foregrounds! If I can't colour it within the lines of a stamp I'm pretty much useless!!!This is so much fun Sabrina! Snoopy is always such a hit at our parties! Sol will absolutely love this. The sentiment is perfect. The 'writing big' is referring to whatever you write in the card, just to help him read it! Thanks so much
