Today's Inspiration Challenge is a very interesting site with lots of vintage items! Some are quite unique!!! I have been wanting to use these Oxford Impressions (Jane Austen series) stamps for a couple of weeks! So I selected this item from the 1800's: http://www.relique.com/antique-milin...le-style-sold/
Hopefully you can see the "dress" top in my card! The first thing I did was use the largest Spellbinders Lattice die and then cut the rectangle in half. I turned the lattice edges toward the center. I used a gingham ribbon to lace and tied with a simple bow. Then I folded down the top inner corners and used brads to adhere them (sort of like buttons). For the white "blouse", I used a Martha Stewart border and edge punch and had those facing each other. The brooch, is a Nostalgic Treasure (read fake and plastic) made by Dress it up.
The vintage images were colored with Copic markers. Lastly, I used a sheer black ribbon and the "waist" and tied a bow.
Thank you Anne for a wonderful challenge!!! And thank you for stopping by to take a peek!

I love your lace up dress, Kathleen!! Though I have to say, I was thinking corset (thank goodness we don't wear them any more). You certainly captured the era of the wooden hat sizer with this wonderful and creative card!!
