When I think of going to the beach, I think of going to Pine Lake in northern Wisconsin. We owned a cottage there for many years and now we rent one for a week. The whole family is invited, come when you can. My Dad always called northern Wisconsin 'God's Country' and so have I always thought of it that way.
This card is a copy of one I created at a Zindorf class. I didn't like how the first one turned out, this one is better. Pine Lake even has a peninsula that juts out into a channel between two lakes and this scene looks a lot like it. As you can tell, I love my lake.

FABULOUS!!! Your brayering is exquisitely done and the scene of Pine Lake that you are depicting does indeed look like "God's Country"....filled with calm and serenity. A BEAUTIFUL card!
What a gorgeous lake scene. You did a beautiful job of sponging. Love the reflection in the water.
We lived on a lake in Minnesota for years and it's a wonderful
place to be. tfs and bringing back some great memories.
