I made this 6 x 6 card for a Scrapbook/Papercrafting party I am hosting for my very close friends this summer. The theme I chose was summer treats. I had seen a lemonade cup that a fellow splitcoaststamper member had posted and I loved it, so I tried to recreate it. I made the lemonade cup by making a cup stencil then used vellum for the cup. Fold each long side about 1/8 inch and cut off the pointy corners. Then I rubbed yellow ink all over with a dauber to give it the color of lemonade. I then mixed yellow glitter and lemonade kool-aid together and added it to the rim of the glass and to the slice of the lemon for the scratch and sniff affect. I also made made a slice of watermelon by paper piecing red cardstock onto patterned green cardstock by simply making a patter of a watermelon. I also made an ice cream cone the same way adding pink glitter to the top of the ice cream. Thanks so much for looking!
