This is my card - late again, for this week's teaparty for Heath - For his teapot story, please go HERE
This card is also for the ODBD SLC115 challenge to use distressing or tearing - mine is distressed!! The Scripture is from ODBD's set, Quiet Waters, and the image was gifted to me, unknown company
. I distressed the edges for the "man of the woods" and put some beautiful scenery from the woods there with a sparkling stream to fish in. Added some twine with a cross charm and sponged the edges for a rustic look. Hoping this card will soothe Heath's soul as he recuperates from his injuries!
Thanks for looking - be back later over the weekend to comment after my DGS heads home!

Greenie, this is absolutely moving! A calm, God-made scene, and sweet words from Him too. Perfect! Your distressing and charm are great touches!

What a wonderful scene, Sue! I love this beautiful cabin on the lake and the perfect scripture to go with it (the cross charm is an amazing idea too!) You totally rocked this challenge and Heath is going to love this beautiful and inspirational card. Thanks so much for coming to the Party this week. I saved you some of those wonderful fish cookies
