This is my first attempt to recreate the ornament on in the holiday catty. I love the bundles this year and yes, I bought them all!!! ;) I saw this bundle and just had to have!!!! I wanted to use it for a workshop but I think it is to time consuming . I had fun with it though and want to create more using different ornaments and different inks! I embossed the snowflake with the vanilla SU embossing powder, it was the first time I had used any SU embossing powders....and yes, I am now hooked!!!! All my other cheap powders are now going to be donated!!! I love how the embossing powders melt easily and the vanilla smells wonderfully!!!! I also used the new tulle in the Holiday catty....I didn't think I would use or like the tulle as much as I do....I can think of a dozen uses for it right now!!!!!

Beautiful ornament! I just ordered my bundle today, can't wait to try it. One question, how or what did you attach the pieces to in the center? Thanks for sharing!

I attached the pieces in the center to a punched circle (use a size that is best for what you are creating). It gives you something to adhere to and stablizes it too. I did it in matching cs but you don't have to if you don't care to show the back. Thanks for looking!

This turned out really pretty. I saw the holiday catty just yesterday (haven't gotten mine in the mail yet) and thought I'd like to try it, too. I'm thinking you might also be able to create this using DP instead of the stamped image. That sounded like a great way to use up all that old Christmas paper so you can buy new stuff!
