I was excited to use some new releases from The Stamps Of Life on this card. I used stamps from both the crayons2stamp and words4crayons sets. The DP is super old from Me & My Big Ideas. Don't even remember what the collection was called! I stamped my crayons, flowers, and sentiment in Licorice, Strawberry and Blueberry. These inks are by Stephanie Barnard for Clearsnap and stamp like a dream! I bundled my crayons together with some baker's twine from The Twinery.

What a charming card!!! This card takes me back to being a little kid. Some restaurants would give each kid a couple of crayons (to keep them quite) to color while waiting for the meal. I imagine there are places that still do, but I can't think of any.
Sorry! Back to YOU and your wonderful card!!! LOVE that sweet sentiment too! I think you have made such a fabulous card!!! LOVE it!!! (and thanks for the trip down memory lane!)

Emily, what a delightful card for anyone. From the thumbnail, I thought it might be a card for a child with the crayons....but soon realized that it was not......could be, but what a wonderful greeting for a friend. Your big crayons are so eye-catching and SO realistic.....and so cute bound together with the colorful twine.

There are so many fun cards with today's fun sketch, and yours is definitely one of them. I love the bright colors and the bit of wimsy it has. If I were to do another one, I would go for more of the fun. :>)
