I was excited to see Marie's challenge to us for Teapot Tuesday MMTPT206 ~ July 10, 2012 ~ A man of the woods has quite simple tastes by momof5sons at Splitcoaststampers included fishing images as I was recently gifted this stamp from the retired Angler set. I stamped on watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons and a paintbrush to color my image. I did a faux burnt edge as well as lots of distressing on my circles and strip. The strip is a piece of paper bag embossed in the Square Lattice ef. I used a vellum quote adhered with large eyelets and added a bit of twine for accent.
Come join the party!!!

Wowzers, Gail this is fantastic!! What a beautiful gift to receive - I love this set! (and I would imagine a PW could surely use fishing themed cards a lot I love your layout and the cool use of that texture...really a manly feel. The simple yet powerful words are perfect for Heath - he is going to love this card. Thanks so much for coming to the Party today...I've been scarce here as of late but I do think of you. The burnt edge and all the distressing look wonderful - you know I think you make great masculine cards . Great to be able to use your new-to-you stamps, too.
