Today's Teapot Tuesday is for Heath in Oklahoma. He was injured in a very serious accident. Thankfully he is on the mend, but nothing like some handmade cards to make one feel even better!
Heath likes hunting and fishing. The card I made has a hunting dog. Looks like he is pointing towards the "lunch wagon". This is a kill free zone, so I think Friend is pointing out a BLT.
I named this good old boy, Friend, because so many folks (myself included) are so attached to their animals. Some even call them, their furry children! Somehow I didn't think Heath woudl do that with his hunting dog. LOL
I tried to make the sentiment look similar to a dog collar with a ribbon and tag. I used an embossing folder and a little chalk. The image is from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. I colored it with Copics. Thank you for hosting Marie! Thank you all for stopping by to take a peek!

A beautiful pointer/hunting dog, Kathleen! You've done a great job coloring "Friend"! I love the tag that you've made to look like a collar and tag and the distressed embossed bg!! Friend looks like he would be a wonderful companion!

Kathleen this is spectacular! I love your dog (Heath will too!) and his "dog tag" is such a wonderful touch. You did real good...make sure to take those extra cookies. I think that there is a jar of dog biscuits for "Friend" too! Thanks for coming to the Party!

If that was my hunting dog I'd teach him to point for gelato! I like the bg with the subtle sponging and the tag which emulates a dog tag. Great card. My dogs are my furkids.
