I thoroughly enjoyed going through Debbie's gallery. Every single card done to perfection. She has just got to be a fun person as her cards have such a fun feel to them. I chose this Christmas card to honor her. My style goes a bit more vintage but I kept her great design.
The pot, gifts, star and bird are pieced and popped.

Wonderful case!!! LOVE that vintage look! Christmastime gets me sentimental, so the vintage feel is perfect!!! The paper piecing is fantastic, especially popped up that way!!! Your Christmas card is like a big hug, it just makes you feel good!!!

This is beautiful! I love the vintage look of the card. I only wish I had the vintage gene in me. I just never seem to do well with that style. But I sure do like to look at crafts and cards done in that style.
You really made me laugh with your comment about me being a fun person. One of my girlfriends is always telling me she likes to spend time with me because I make her feel more lighthearted because she has so much fun with me. And yet, the word fun is not one you'd ever hear me use to describe myself. In fact, at work I am known to be the person who coined the term "mandatory fun" when the company decided to have what they called fun events and we were forced to participate. LOL!

Oh, what a beauty, Becky! And it surely honors Debbie. I love the vintage feel as well, and the newsprint wrapping really is darling! Great paper-piecing and popping with the fabulous DSP finish it beautifully...with your special touch!
