When I saw Debbie's wonderful gallery, full of critters and hedgies - my favourite kind of thing, I knew I had to do the FS stamper challenge. I used the same image as Debbie did, but changed colours and changed up the layout. Here is the card that I cased - Cockeyed Birthday Wishes by swldebbie at Splitcoaststampers
I fussy cut out the image, and popped it up on foam tape. I put a wee bit of stickles on the 'fur of the hedgies, as Debbie did, and I used an EF on my red layer, but a different style -a Tim Holtz distressed squares. I put Diamond Glaze on the pencil
Debbie, fabulous gallery -and I'll be visiting often so as to get more inspiration.
Thanks for looking! I will be back tomorrow to comment.

What a fantastic CASE, Debzi, and this image has always appealed to me...I know a couple of crossword fanatics who would just love it...the deep red bg with the black makes the image really pop and the checkerboard embossing plays along perfectly.

Great card, I bought this stamp ages ago because my mum inlaw is a criptic crossword fanatic (at 94) but keep forgetting to use it.
I will have to make the effort for her 95th birthday, you have inspired me.
Cheers

Now, just how cute is this! Love your little hedgies and the fun way they are wishing a happy birthday. This sounds like a FS challenge just perfect for you as you love these little guys.

That background ef matches perfectly! I can see how you'd be inspired to participate since you have this same image. Love the red and black and white, and your careful cutting and coloring of those sweet hedgies.
You guys are inspiring me to bring out the crossword background stamp that I own. I haven't inked it up for a while.
