This is a sort-of-CASE of a card I spotted on Pinterest. Had to do it from memory because I somehow missed saving the image, which means I am unable to give credit to the maker of the inspiration card. Rats, that makes me cross when that happens!
The body of this bird is hand drawn & cut using a plastic template that I found in my stash. The text paper is a page from a vintage French Dictionary that a lovely French lady shared with me. Oh la la is it ever fun to play with! The flourish on the bird is stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink, as is the sentiment on the cloud die cut.
This was a fast and fun card to put together and will be nice to have in my stash to use for a variety of occasions. I've pre-cut several clouds so that they can be customized for the event with the appropriate sentiment and attached to the completed card.
I so thank you for taking the time to look at my French birdie!

I'm taken by the newsprint paper you've used to create your bird- especially cool on the woodgrain-embossed kraft base. The cloud shape seems a perfect place for the sentiment.
