I stamped the lady 2 times one of them was on a flesh colored piece of basic grey. I cut out the arms and the head from that piece and glued it on to the other one. That is what paper pieced is. I don't mind the cutting, I didn't have to color in anything! Hope this makes sence!

Thanks, Gwen, for the explanation of "paper piecing." Makes sense, now, and I do understand how you did it. My problem at first was that to me "paper piecing" is a quilting technique and I saw no quilting in your card. I paper piece paper into quilt blocks like this one: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers I also do this with fabric. Your lady is gorgeous and I now know a new technique. TYFS
