I love wood grain....if you've ever been in my gallery you'll find lots! I went with a faux wood bg piece made using a similar technique to the one in the tutorial here Faux Wood Frame Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers with a More Mustard base with the 4 browns layered and some added marks with an Espresso marker. I had seen this fabulous card by Vicki B. http://itsastampthing-vicki.blogspot...challenge.html. I loved the warmth and age on her beautiful image panel. I used Upsy Daisy and after inking with More Mustard I used Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Always Artichoke markers to add details to the flowers. I stamped onto Vanilla cs then added the French script and spatter in Early Espresso. I sponged More Mustard, Cajun Craze, and Crumb Cake onto the image. For the sentiment I stamped the Weathered bg in Chocolate Chip onto Vanilla cs I embossed the Scripture verse by inking with Versamark then Early Espresso and embossing with clear EP. I added some sponging on the edges. Instead of the cool seam binding bow on Vicki's card I added some distressed twine. *The wood I placed the card on for the picture is a sample of the laminate flooring we're ordering for our new kitchen in the parsonage we live in!!!

Love that wood bg and the rustic look of this card, very pretty with the wildflowers, topped off by some heavy duty twine! Oh and I like your photo set up with the laminate

Your card is super great!! I love the wood bg. I like how you have a postcard on there, and the wood look on your verses. Super job with the challenge.
