Sorry to be so late, I was at the doctors for a good part of the day. Today, Toni gave us the challenge to use Tissue Paper. I haven't ever tried this, so this was a good challenge for me to try out!
It took a while to make those flowers, I am not gonna lie! But, the stems were easy, just twist the green tissue paper. For the flower, I wrapped some yellow around the bottom 1/4" or so of my exacto knife (probably should have used a pen lol) and twisted the part below it (probably another 1/2 inch) and that is the center part. The petals, took some trial and error, I mean ERRORS! LOL At first I cut them individually, but it was hard keeping them from slipping. So, I ended up making a row of five petals and wrapping that row around the center. Then I made a few buds. Good way to use some of the yellow scrap. : )
The Darice embossing folder is not big enough to show the details with the die in the center of the card. So I made one half with some hang over, and then the other half. So there is a seam under the flowers and die. But, you can't see it, because I used the oval from the center of the other die to cover it. Clear as mud?
Anyway, I added some half pearls and called it a day, I mean night!
Thanks Toni for a great challenge! And thank you for stopping by to take a peek!

Wooo, Kathleen - fabulous flowers!!!! You put much time into the different components - the frame, the embossing, the flower petals, all of it - brilliantly beautiful!
