Hoping it's OK to enter this in the current Anything Goes with ODBD challenge - although my sentiments are Hero, my main image is from ODBD. I wanted a masculine looking box to tuck some of DH's favourite sweets and an IOU in for his birthday tomorrow, and the Bird and Butterfly Labels set was perfect for topping off my box.
The Slider Box was the tutorial in the Inkling a couple of weeks back when I was away from home. I made mine slightly shorter, so that I could use Labels 8 on it. My wrapper is 5" long, and the drawer is 4 1/2". Also I used waxed paper instead of a plastic bag - with red-liner tape I find it sticks well enough.
Kraft card, green Bazzill.
ODBD image stamped with Versafine Black and embossed with black ep, then cut with Labels 18. Both the image and the top panel of the box were edged with a black Sakura Glaze pen. I painted over the little butterflies with some green paint and then buffed it off, just to add some colour to them.

Wow, Sabrina, you may have been a few weeks coming with this tutorial, but you did a bang up job of a sweet birthday IOU and box of goodies - that sounds like thoughtful YOU!! Love the masculine colors and I know he will appreciate the treat tucked in with all your Love!!
