A 'three-fer' today. I was so worn out from work yesterday, I couldn't do the FS challenge. This is Laura's card I chose: Tis the Season for Family and Friends by Laura ODonnell at Splitcoaststampers
Her gallery is so much fun, so much color going on. I loved the whimsy of this Christmas tree card and that's what I tried to recreate. I used her theme, made some trees that are mostly green and added some stars like hers.
My card probably isn't as CAS as it should be but I did follow the sketch, which was very cute. I always like a taller card. I left off the cross-wise ribbon because I used a dp with swirls at the bottom. I added some scoring instead of embossing. The trees are actually a simple stamp that I put on the back of the dps and cut out. Most of you could have free-cut those trees but I'm very bad at that so I was happy to have a stamp. Laura used a digital stamp on hers; I don't know much about digi and I would appreciate some helpful comments about them. I don't have access to a printer at the moment but I hope to soon.

I like your sparkly tress against that text bg..a somewhat muted Christmas color scheme but it works well with the sketch. Oh and I like the green swirls on the lower left.
