Today's IC is adorable - My Sweet Muffin. Thanks Anne for taking us there. I've been gone all week doing camp nursing for our church camp, so I've combined 3 challenges today. I will be heading back to camp tomorrow. It was an awesome week - 20 campers (4th & 5th grades) w/ 7 Baptisims!
Anyway, I chose this cute little mushroon nightlight for my inspiration: http://www.mysweetmuffin.com/item/Br...it-England/645
I freehand cut the stem & cap. I made a door -WT380 from Crumb Cake & stamped w/ woodgrain. I punched a hole for the window & doorknob. I stamped off the leaves & 'flowers' which were done w/ W/C Minis & W/C Trio. F4A122 was to pierce, so pierced the scallops on the cap. Punched a couple little flutterbys & thought it looked pretty good.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.
See y'all next week.

oh my gosh this is just too cute. Reminds me of the fairy houses at Happy Hollow Park in San Jose when my kids where little. Thanks for explaining how you created this, it was inspiring to me

Your mushroom house is so sweet, Karen! Your foliage and butterflies look great, and those punched holes are too cute! Isn't that exciting to see young ones give their hearts to the Lord? Blessing to you!

Now here's a clever creation from your inspiration! I used the same cute lamp for my inspiration, but it doesn't come as close as yours!

Karen, how adorable! Love your mushroom house and clever use of punched out circles. Love the soft foliage stamping too. Sounds like you have been VERY busy and will continue to be so.

You and I chose the same inspiration piece. I love your cute mushroom house, especially how you cut the stem and cap and made the door and window. You did a really good job! Very creative!
