Thank you! The photo is actually desaturated.. I'd done that before for a layout so all I had to do was resize it and stamp away! It's so silvery, isn't it?
I went into photoshop and there is an option to adjust "saturation" it's how rish the colors are... so i removed color... the original rose as the camera effects took it had quite green leaves and was a dark pink i think... can't find it at the moment!

And oh my.... Having a full version of photoshop, there is so much you can do! It's great for adjusting brightness/color for those photos you take indoors on a digital camera... you know where the lighting is horrible and the ceiling is over 2 stories up... like in my church! It's also great for adjusting the saturation, changing to black and white or sepia or any other duo-tone color, etc. I used to work at a web design firm and picked up some tricks but I'm no pro and there is so much more out there and custom filters you can create, buy, or download!
