This card is for the Alphabet Challenge – Letter X. Representing this letter are some faux cross X stitches and the word relax. We get a bit lenient for the more difficult letters. Instead of a word starting with the Letter of the Week, this time it just needs to contain Letter X. I didn’t think I could find such a word among my stamps. I was sure that I would need to print a word or sentiment to suffice. Then I found this cute stamp with “relax” on it. The picture and the word fit my main image perfectly! I could relax about finding a word with Letter X. The main image was colored by my daughter in X-treme colors, another gracious lean on the challenge this week. No colors begin with X. I do like these Bold Bright colors from Stampin’ Up! and I miss the retired ones. The yellow layer was an xtra piece that had an interesting edge. Crystal Effects was used on the glass and pitcher of lemonade and on the cut lemon slices to make it all look “wet”. On an xtremely hot day, it would be xtra refreshing to have a tall glass of lemonade! I ended up with an x-tra circle of flip flops which will be xcellent to decorate a package or envelope! Here’s to summer and Letter X! TFL
