I have been wanting to participate with the Crafty Friends Challenge since they began 5 weeks ago but this is my first time to finish one. This week we were challenged to use Flowers. I think most all of us would find this an easy one. I used the hydrangeas from a new Penny Black set.
My bg was created by sponging Distress Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass inks onto white card stock. I inked the Impression Obsession cover a card bg stamp with the same inks and overstamped the sponged piece. Stitched this onto Bashful blue.
The hydrangea was watercolored with the same inks plus a bit of green. The flower was done twice so that I could cut and pop some of the blossoms to give it plenty of dimension.
Thanks for taking a look.
