Congrats Emily on being selected the new FS!! It couldn't have happened to a sweeter stamper! When I first came to SCS you were one of the first stampers to comment on my cards~I really appreciated that! Your gallery is super~full of creative cards! This is the card I chose; Enjoy the Ride by ejkeaton at Splitcoaststampers
I love the CAS style. I made this for my hubby, I have three daughters and six granddaughters from my first hubby~he dies at 46 from heart disease. I'm remarried to a man with no children of his own~he really enjoys the ready made family. We buried his dad yesterday so I hope my card brings a smile~he needs one.
I stamped the car and heat embossed. Stamped the shadow~kinda looks like a tire mark and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. Tied on the aqua suede twine. I colored the card with TH distress markers, and a Blick colored pencil.
Emily enjoy your day!
Hugs Linda

I'm so sorry for your husband's loss, Linda. It's good to hear your story. This is the best kind of masculine card, clean, simple and as your card says - classic!

Accept my sympathies, Linda. Sounds like you have had a rough week. Your card is wonderful in its CAS design and I love the old Chevy(57?) which I remember in that marine blue. It is sure to please your DH no end.

Linda, you have always been one of my biggest supporters here on SCS. I appreciate all of your sweet comments and kind words!! I'm so sorry for you and your hubby's loss, but I know that this card will bring some cheer. As soon as I saw your sweet card, I knew which of my creations you had chosen to CASE! You captured it beautifully. Thanks so much for honoring me by playing along with FS280!!
