Couldn't wait to try out the Technique spotlighted in the Weds. Tutorial...I knew there was a reason I threw that masking fluid into my cart the other day! The technique is called Masking Fluid Resist and the tutorial is here Masking Fluid Resist Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers. I started with a piece of Glossy White cs and stamped my Peaceful Wishes sentiment in Versamark then painted the masking fluid over it. I then sponged with Bashful Blue after spattering some masking fluid dots around (I cheated and used a heat gun in between colors). I stamped some snowflakes too on each layer. The next colors were Marina Mist, Pacific Point and I ended with Not Quite Navy. I added some white Baker's Twine and silver cord and mounted onto a Not Quite Navy base. Fun technique! Thanks to Heather for putting together such an easy to follow tutorial!!!

Your card turned out beautifully. I am playing with the technique too...letting a layer of the masking fluid dry...that has been the hard part :-) I will share if it is good enough to finish into a card...if not..I will try, try again! TFS
