I'm finally getting to play with my new SU goodies that came last Friday, woohoo! I stamped the feather with turquoise and then ran an Island Indigo marker around the edges, and then cut it out. The inkwell is made with the ornament punch, and I first layered some Island Indigo on Pool Party, then trimmed the bottom to make it flat. I punched another ornament shape out of some clear acrylic I had left over from some packaging. I attached it to the paper part of the inkwell by folding its untrimmed bottom part under the bottom of the paper inkwell and attaching it with sticky strip, then I tied a bit of twine around the top part of the inkwell to hold the acrylic and paper together. I tucked the feather in between the layers and put dimensionals under it and the inkwell. The inkwell is mounted on a label diecut that I embossed with the new fancy fan ef and sponged the edges with turquoise.
